How it works

You list a game license drop with your normal pricing, key inventory, and supported platforms (Steam, Epic, PSN — Xbox and Nintendo coming). Buyers purchase through FlipKey and receive a verifiable on-chain receipt. When they're ready to play, they're handed off to your existing redemption flow — they confirm their Steam (or Epic) account via OpenID, then return to your redeem page for the actual key activation. We never touch your keys.

One setup step: redemption happens on your redeem page, so you (or your engineer) run a small redemption endpoint that hands out your keys — we ship a drop-in starter kit + SDK for it. A listing goes live once that endpoint passes a quick link test, so plan for a short integration before your first sale.

Optional layers on top: creator-attribution for streamers and Discord giveaways, and webhook delivery for purchase events into your existing CRM.

The grey-market problem, solved

Stolen-card keys get laundered through grey-market resellers — publishers eat the chargebacks and see none of the money. FlipKey gives you that resale reach without the laundering: every license is use-bound (it can't be resold or flipped before redemption), and every sale is a direct, identity-attached transaction you can trace back to the exact buyer and payment. G2A's reach, without G2A's chargeback problem.

Pricing

No monthly fees. No setup fees. No listing fees. You pay only when you sell.

Per sale: FlipKey's 6% platform fee — and just 3% on items $5 and under — plus standard payment processing. On a typical game that's around 10% all-in, a fraction of the 30% the big platforms take. Crypto checkout is cheaper still: about 7.5% all-in on a $60 game, and only 4.5% on a $1 item — micro-content pricing no major storefront can touch.
